The Project:
Create a series of online Flash games designed to test distant healing ability for the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Each of the three games is played twice in a row, in a random order: one time in a 'clinical' setting and one time in a 'compassionate' setting. Images and sounds were chosen to enhance the experience of each setting. Registration, Login, and a Hall of Fame were tied to the MySQL database using a custom perl module.

Garden of Dreams

The Project:
Convert existing Flash and HTML games to a unified Flash gaming experience using a garden motif for the Institute of Noetic Sciences. The contemplative theme of Japanese tea gardens was chosen and used throughout the Garden of Dreams. Images and sounds were chosen and created to enhance the theme and experience. The existing Perl backend was redesigned with maximal code reuse in mind, including a number of custom Flash network interaction object-oriented modules. Additionally, the flat file data storage system was replaced with a MySQL database backend.
