Floating Sheep Studios is a graphic design, web design, and web development firm specializing in affordable, rapid deployment of custom design solutions. Our services run the gamut from logo and business card design to web site design and implementation to backend web development and database integration.
At Floating Sheep Studios, it is our goal to deliver to our clients the best possible product - be that simply a logo design or full website design and implementation - at the best possible price and in the shortest possible time.

Dawn Bushong
Dawn brings eleven years of experience in web design and development to the firm and she has been doing logo and graphic design for nearly as long. Her primary skills are with the design of web pages and web sites, from page layout to site-wide navigation and usability. She is also skilled with the graphic design of logos, business cards, and letterhead. Her toolbox includes everything from Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash to HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Javascript and even to some Perl, PHP, and database integration on the server end.
Prior to Floating Sheep Studios, Dawn worked for Euphorion, an e-business solutions provider, where she worked on projects for a number of clients including Patagonia, Synopsys, Wedding Channel, and BuJin Design. She was also the "webmaster" for the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she revamped and maintained their early website and helped them develop an early logo and "look" for their budding web presence. Dawn holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from the University of California at Berkeley.
David Bushong
David brings eleven years of software development, web applications development, and systems administration expertise to Floating Sheep Studios. He specializes in web-database integration and the creation of complex web systems. He is skilled with scripting and programming languages such as Perl, PHP, Ruby, and C; several databases including Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL; dynamic web integration using Rails, Mason, Zope, ASP, and PHP; and UNIX-based systems administration (including everything from Apache to sendmail) on FreeBSD, numerous Linux distributions, and Sun Solaris.
David has worked for various small and large companies, as well as U.C. Berkeley, over the years doing systems administration and web development. He has done work for clients such as Hewlett Packard (HP), Intuit, Tyco Electronics, and Danville.com. David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from the University of California at Berkeley.
